What a true blue greasy spoon diner at its finest. The pictures that first spot up on this place make it look all nice and bright, but they must be from awhile back. When you 1st walk in you see a bunchnof home dessert sitting in a display case, with bun cakes and big ass cinnamon buns sitting on top. There are some tables to the right and a countertop with stools. There were lots of things piled up on the countertop though. Kind of felt like we walked into someone's house. We were kindly greeted and told to sit where ever we wanted. We went left into the larger diner room. The was kind of a disheveled charm to the place. Our waitress was a good old girl and told us that she had been eating here since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. They kind of have a bit of everything, my daughter ordered a BLT sandwich my wife got a cheeseburger and both my son and I got their catfish dinner. I got mine with a side salad and mashed potatoes and my son got onion rings and fried apples. Everything was cooked to order and didn't take very long to come to the table. The catfish was really good they had kind of a corn breaded batter to it and it was fried pretty much to perfection. It kind of felt a little out of place where it was located it's probably been here for quite a long time before this area built up. There seemed to be a good number of regulars. We then got some of their desserts which were also really good. I think you can definitely find something here that you would like, service was good with a touch of Country Charm. If I was in the area I definitely would stop here again if I was looking for some good grub.

Wonderful local dinner-style restaurant. The staff is friendly and responsive. The food is comfortable and well prepared. UPDATE: Dropped by on December 26 for Togo. One of the free non-chain restaurants open today. Nice

Visited on 4/19/25. Locally owned. Classic diner feel is what you walk into here. Arrived at around 430pm. Ordered drinks , water and iced tea: tea was freshly made, nice and cold. Had a craving for fried chicken and not from a chain. Took about 20 minutes to get it (freshly prepared right then and cooked, something you can't get at a chain restaurant). It was excellent, hot, crispy and juicy inside. Give this place a try, I don't think you'll regret it.

Brought my daughter here for an impromptu 5th birthday lunch to treat her... we're new to the area, so I just googled local restaurants and ended up here. Soon as I walked in, I asked the super nice server if they do anything special for birthdays. She asked her manager and then came to grab me to discretely pick out a piece of cake for the birthday girl from the dessert display. When we were all done eating, the whole staff came out to singe her happy birthday and tell us ours was the first special birthday request they'd ever done! This was amazing in every way! The food was delicious. The staff went above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Great little place from times past. The tenders are one of the best I've ever had, light, crunchy and great flavore... Solid food. If you crossed a soul food and greasy spoon from way back when, this is the place in the best ways possible. Sunday breakfast here we come!! I wouldn't have plans after though, you will indulge....

I’m sorry for not getting a good picture of the food. It was so good that I scarfed it down without getting my phone out! This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, and after a long hard day of digging holes in the hot sun, I didn’t know if this was the meal stop for me or not. I’m so glad I did. Bar-none the best pork chop I’ve ever had!!! The cornbread was sweet and on point, the Mac-n-cheese was delicious too. This place has a vibe (not the typical kind but good). The owners were nice and friendly and so was the waiter. Plus the price was fantastic. If you are anywhere close to this place “STOP AND EAT!” And the waiter mentioned the fried chicken was better. What!?! I will be back!

Wow! These hand cut fries might be the best fries you will ever taste. Amazing! If your stopping at Zion crossroads, go here for food.

Glad we went to this hole in the wall place. Best fried chicken I have had in years. You can buy it by the bucket if you are local. Better than the Colonel ever thought about making. ...
